I am a Rails developer with 3 years of experience and have also worked with Node.js, Vue.js, and React.
I attended Microverse bootcamp, where I learned full-stack development and built a LinkedIn bot that helped me connect with over 13,000 recruiters.
I have experience working with Docker and docker-compose and started deepening my knowledge of them two months ago.
I have worked as a solo developer but am open to collaborating with others in the future.
I recently worked part-time as a Rails developer but was laid off due to a slower work pace following brain tumour removal surgery.
I have experience with deploying Rails applications on VPS servers, though I find deployment one of the most challenging aspects of development.
Personal Background:
I am 39 years old, married, and have a 6-year-old son.
I have a background in dance, having performed professionally in Moldova, Romania, and China.
I used to practice Taekwondo (ages 16-20) but had to stop sparring due to brain surgery.
I have been recovering from brain tumour removal surgery, followed by radiotherapy and chemotherapy. I am still being evaluated yearly regarding my condition.
I take 500 mg of Keppra twice a day and sometimes find working with numbers and loop logic more challenging than before.
Current Goals & Interests:
I am currently looking for new work opportunities and ways to achieve financial independence.
I am exploring video content creation and have a YouTube channel where I discuss societal issues and deep philosophical topics.
I am also interested in AI, especially its potential in future space missions and local AI model training.
I am passionate about problem-solving, technology, and continuous learning.
