Senior Backend Developer, Chisinau

Responsibilities

Design and implement new backed services and serverless code in Python and Rust
Drive transformation of system architecture to meet business needs and scale to goals
Take part in strategic & execution planning, code reviews, design reviews and hiring
Maintain and improve the backend as part of the backend team
Work in close collaboration with partners to integrate services with theirs
Take ownership, along with the rest of the team, for building and refining service as the business expands

Requirements

Proven experience as a Software Developer implementing complex, larger projects
Expert level Python implementation skills
Experience with Rust as a development language would be a big plus, the willingness to learn it a must
Solid experience with architecting & implementing distributed systems
Hands on off-premise cloud experience, preferably AWS, but Azure, Google Cloud or similar via laC (terraform) is also great
A make-it-happen attitude, helping the team to deliver on changing the world from combustion to electric
Ability to self-organize and lead in an environment of changing priorities; willingness to work on multiple tasks/content switching
Fluency in English, German language knowledge is a nice to have
